Directors Letter
As a parent of four daughters, I have watched my children as well as many others,be robbed of their innocence through some (not all) dance and cheerleading programs.
I t was very frustrating dealing with expenses of cheerleading and dance as well as the profanity that crept in. I decided that someone needed to step up and help other parents who feel the way I do, save their little girls innocence a little longer, hence the slogan "allowing little girls to be little girls". I must say I have been amazed to see the overwhelming number of parents who feel the way I do and support this program.(See the guest book for comments from parents and please feel free to leave on as well)
This program is designed to be lots of fun for the girls, bringing much self confidence, discipline, positive attitude as well as happiness to each and every Litle Lady. Every little girl (and I mean every little girl short, tall, skinny, hefty, coordinated, uncoordinated, autistic, challenged either menatlly or physically,ALL little girls), are welcomed with warm hearts into this program. Just as important, this program is extremely friendly to a parents schedule as well as a families budget.
It is extremely important to me, to the point of welling up in tears, that each and every one of my Little Ladies knows that a Little Lady cheerleader brings sunshine to others, has a smile that is contagious, gives of herself, and most importantly knows that she is one of the most important people that God has put on this earth. This is why new England Cheer's Little Ladies, DO NOT compete, or cheer for teams, rather we cheer in recitals, Nursing homes, charity events, benefits, raise money for the Kirky Cancer Foundation, by cheering outside department stores and raffles at the recitals. We hand deliver gift checks form the Kirky Cancer Foundation to the families of children who suffer from cancer ( the money goes to paying for a nurse for the day or evening so Mom & Dad can have a date or even get some errands done, sending the entire family to dinner,a movie,or even an amusement park!) . We try to make it to as many events and benefits as possiblefor cancer, breast cancer, etc. We also march in parades so that people will know who we are and what we do.
The Little Ladies will be more than equipped to cheer on any team and/or compete at anytime as they are taught all of the skills needed.Since we do not compete against any other cheer squads it is fine to join our squad off popwarner season.Agaon, all little girls are welcome.
I look forward to our relationship as parents who want to have our little girls turn into great young woman through being wonderful "Little Ladies".
Sincerely,
Tonja M Pacheco
