UPDATED THURSDAY 4/23/09......

UNIFORMS ARE IN!! All Uniforms paid in full will be delivered to class the week of April 27th.

*** Full Performance Uniform goes into effect at all classes as well as events the first week of May.

 

Performance Dress Code (with exception of shoes and under garment all came in your uniform package):

: Little Ladies cheer uniform, neat and clean (pink and white shell and skirt)

: White tennis shoes, must be COMPLETELY white (canvas, pleather, or leather (usually Payless, Target, or Wall Mart have them for under $15.00)

: Shoe poms

: Uniform hair-bows(pink and white)

: Performance Poms

: white or pink “shorts are to be worn under the skirts (lots of parents just cut a pair of tights)

: ABSOLUTELY NO MAKE-UP ALLOWED, child WILL BE required to remove any make-up before performing if it is applied NO EXCEPTIONS.

***WEDNESDAY MAY 13th (Fall River Squads):

Arrive @ 6:30pm for a 6:45pm performance

***SATURDAY MAY 16th SPRING RECITAL (all squads):

: Time 6:00pm – 7:30pm All "little Ladies" need to be there NO LATER than 5:15pm

: Location: Pulaski Elementary School 1097 Braley Rd. New Bedford, MA 02745 (Centrally located to all districts as it is easily accessed from 195/Rt140)  

: Full performance dress code

:Tickets are 10.00 per seat and can be purchased at the door only (we found many times parents are stuck with purchased tickets of relatives or friends who cannot make it so door sales seem to work best)

: Parents are welcome to stay back stage with their “Little Lady” but not required to as 6 instructors as well as myself will be there that day, feel free to relax and enjoy the show.

****Donations of gift baskets, gift cards, or items needed for the Raffle that benefits the Kirky Cancer Foundation and will be donated and presented to  the Relay for  Life event listed below. Please inform your instructor if you are able to provide any items.

 

***TUESDAY MAY 19th (Lake Ville/Taunton Squads):

: arrive 6:15pm for a 6:30 performance at

: Arbors at the Taunton Nursing Facility 763 County St Taunton Ma

 

***THURSDAY MAY 21st (Dartmouth/New Bedford squads):

: arrive 6:15pm for a 6:30pm performance

SUNDAY May 31 (All Squads)... Somerset Stop and Shop (Please sign up at class for any ONE HOUR increment between 9am and 3pm)  

 

JUNE 27th :"RELAY FOR LIFE" **THIS IS OUR BIGGEST EVENT!!!** 

This event is one of the biggest events in our area to raise money for cancer! It is what all the cancer cheers and dances have been learned for!

We will be performing in the morning just before first mini/youth Relay we have been asked to lead the youths in the first lap as well.

The time is still up in the air, probably around 9AM (will confirm via e-mail, announcement page, office phone recording and home page of website when they do, **we need to be there 30 minutes prior to the event to practice.  The address is Somerset High School, 625 County Street, Somerset, Ma 

 

Please note although classes WILL BE IN SESSION THE WEEK OF May 4th the office, e-mails, website, and phone lines will be closed (5/4-5/11), enjoy your mother’s day weekend!

Thank you for your help with a LAKE VILLE nursing home,in the process of booking will post info asap.

 RELAY FOR LIFE Saturday- June 27th.  We will be performing in the morning just before first mini/youth Relay for the after performing we have been asked to  lead the youths in the first lap. *Next Event Saturday, APRIL 18, 2009 Fall River Stop n Shop "Candy for Cancer" can drive. 333 Marianno Bishop Blvd. in Fall River 02720. (Please sign up for any ONE HOUR increment by e-mail or at class between 9am and 3pm)

 

*Recital date Saturday May 16th at 6pm("little Ladies" need to be there NO LATER than 5:15pm more details to follow) @Polaski Elementary School 1097 Braley Rd. New Bedford, MA 02745 (Centrally located to all disticts as it is easily accessed from 195/Rt140)

*Nursing home dates still pending confirmation but for ease of your schedule know they will fall on the same night as your child's class.****STILL NEED A NURSING HOME IN LAKE VILLE!!! (please e-mail me if u can assist)

*Relay for Life still being booked for greater Fall River area (held in Somerset,confirmation and details to follow.IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED IN THE RELAY HELD IN DARTMOUTH PLEASE CONTACT ME)

*REMINDER...THERE ARE NO CLASSES DURING SPRING BREAK....uniforms "should" be in when we return.

PLEASE NOTE...this an early event,we apologize for the short notice and understand if anyone cannot commit,the foundation due to the economy is very low on funds for a donation this session so we tried to book as many as possible before the session ends.

 

All furure events (nursing homes,recital,and relay for life will be booked and confirmed this week so please check back here Monady for scheduling puposes.

 

Rooter Poms are FINALLY in!!!!
